It was 2017, I was job hunting for my first full-time job. Fresh of out college and into the post-graduation strugglefest. I had a puppy to feed and working three jobs wasn’t cutting it. I drove across Los Angeles, CA to nearly Santa Monica to a nondescript building and walked into the weirdest job interview I’ve ever had.

Come to find out partway through that the main leader of the startup is the guy who created and founded Venmo and that he likes stickers and cutesy art. Oh…and he HATES Donald Trump. So long story short, I did not get the job which would have been a bummer for this manifesting generator anyway, ha! But he did specifically commission me to make stickers of the MAGA hat but in Venmo’s colors with the phrase “Make Humanity Great Again” on them instead. I sent him a thank you note for his time post-interview alongside a batch of custom stickers!
