When it comes to social media,
your standards are high.
You can’t just trust anyone...
And Why Should You?
Social Media Strategy & Management with Nia Patterson
**This is a 20-minute call to see if we’re a good fit and determine what level of support your business needs to achieve it's goals.

Your socials are lively and doing just what you’ve put in the work to have them do → work for you.
But somewhere along the way, you slipped, tripped, and ended up biting off more than you could chew. Well, metaphorically speaking. In reality, it’s more like you’re bouncing from one task to the next, client to client, and your days are filled with keeping up with social trends rather than what you wish they were full of–aligned opportunities. You know that social media keeps you “relevant,” but creating graphics isn’t filling your cup, and you just want…more. More speaking engagements, more podcast invitations, more paying clients.
Working with me alongside you, as your social media strategist, takes the stress of keeping you relevant and visible off your plate and available for positioning yourself for those opportunities.

creating content used to be second nature. Now you’re pumping the gas just to keep up with the trends.
Your social media content used to give you life and light you up; it came easier to you than any other part of your business. You may not have been made to be a content creator, but you knew how to talk to your audience, and with that knowledge came followers and brand development. Throughout that development, there has always been a level of attentiveness to what you create and a standard of what your brand stands for. Handing off the responsibility to show up as you online sounds about as fun as running your fingers across a cheese grater. And yet, at the same time, the standards are starting to slip, or the message isn’t making it through, and you’re exhausted at the end of the day, finding yourself dismayed by the idea of having to find a trendy idea to post.
Sound about right?
You probably know it’s high time you found a social media manager to hand your content off to. But you don’t trust easy, and your account is basically you bottled up–how could anyone mimic you correctly? But here you are reading my website, looking for a partner you can actually trust to do just that.
Wouldn’t you rather be doing other things with the time and energy getting zapped out of you by the draining process of showing up in a way that no longer feels authentic to you?
- Start the podcast you’ve been noodling on.
- Write the book your audience has been begging for the past 3 years.
- Or damn, just take the trip to Disneyland already.
Intentionality and trust both have their place here.
Because without them, you aren’t ready to enter into a partnership that ultimately supports you and your business.

My Philosophy of Social Media
Candidly, “How to be successful at social media” starts at the middle and branches out from one core belief → You have to have something to SAY. You don’t have to have the most interesting thing to say, your values don’t have to be perfect, you don’t have to have a solid brand…but you do have to have something to say and be willing to put it out there.
When creating content and a strategy for anyone’s brand, it is crucial that we agree on what message we want to get across in your content, who you want that message to resonate with, and how all of this will ultimately lead to the goals you hope to reach.
Having a story to tell or a soapbox to get on has never been so appreciated!
Who I Adore Working With...
The People
Working with people who want to make an impact or a difference is my sweet spot. This doesn’t have to be, “I want to change the world!” It’s not that deep. But it can be something along the lines of, “I want to change the lives of my audience,” or, “When I work with my clients, I love to see them grow and transform.” Changemakers, Dreamers, and Impact-makers are my JAM.
Also, working with creatives is an experience that’s one of a kind! Entrepreneurs x Creatives are such a sweet spot when it comes to amazing humans doing amazing things. Sign me up to hear what the newest pottery ceramicists are making or for watching a slowed-down, ASMR drawing reel. Don’t get me started on rug tufting videos! Artists creating art and sharing it on social media are some of my favorite people to work with.
Overall, working with people who know what’s working for them and where they want to go feels generative. Maybe it’s not a straight path or even a written down plan, but if you can articulate it, however you need to, I’d love to be here to listen and help you make it happen!
The Values
People who hold and honor their personal values are inspiring to work with. The values I hold as important and needed don’t have to be your core values.
Some of my own personal values are personal autonomy, social justice, creativity, honesty, asking for help, and self-care, to name a few. It’s taken me years to learn and define the values that make up my personal belief systems. I never force anyone to come to conclusions over what they do or don’t value, or in what order, but if my values sound like things that are important to you too, then I think we’ll get along just fine.
But along that line, one of my most important personal values is trust. I know that when it comes to handing over the creation of your content or the development of a social strategy to an expert, like me, I find that if at least a seedling of trust doesn’t come with that hand-off, it’s hard to develop it later on. I don’t expect you to fully trust everything I suggest or create right off the bat. However, I do ask that if you choose to work with me, that we both approach the process with an open mind and the patience to let it work. Seeing tangible, quantifiable results from a new social media strategy can take time. I urge you to consider giving any change or new approach 60-90 days before deciding outright if things are or are not working, as it takes that long to wake the algorithm up to the change of pace.
The Dealbreaker
Relationships are hard, period. Working relationships are too! They need a meeting of the minds and deep respect, given and received, when it comes to each side of a team or partnership. I’ve learned over my years doing this that there are some aspects of the people I work with that make them less of an ideal partner to work alongside. And because I want to make sure you feel as comfortable and confident as possible when you fill out the inquiry form below, I’m going to tell you my greatest dealbreaker when it comes to clients I work with…
If you cannot stand cursing, dark sarcasm, or moody puns, I may not be the one for you. I live and breathe 40% sarcasm, and while I don’t curse all the time, I won’t code switch to appease those around me. In fact, I won’t hide any of my amazingness just to convince you to work with me. So that means if you’re not here for the gays, theys, nonbinary baes, outspoken femmes, trans cuties, or unapologetic, fat babes, then this won’t work out between us–sorry, not sorry.

How I Do It Different...
When it comes to digital content creation on social media, there are a lot of basics, but what sets most social strategists apart is how we plan, analyze, and create on top of that foundation. For me, pattern recognition is a thing. That means that when analyzing someone’s account or content, I can see the positives, the missteps, and, as a result, what’s not working and needs to change. After breaking down what needs to change and what needs to be replicated from where you are now, I get to work crafting a persona I can use when it comes to creating your monthly content. At this point, I’ve worked with countless clients creating content in their voice, so that the ability to speak in someone else’s voice is second nature to me.
This means I will spend deep, hyper-focused time diving deep into your industry and niche to get better acquainted with what you do and who you do it for. After the original discovery call, I will send you a detailed onboarding questionnaire (maybe 2) that breaks down the most essential aspects of who you are and what you do. As I put all of this together, your now brand comes to life, and I’m able to make a strategic plan for your account, your brand, and your goals. Over the course of our time together, not only does your account benefit from strategic and consistent content, but I also regularly check in with your analytics, making sure that the plan is working—and tweaking it if it’s not.
What to expect when I’m handling your social media Strategy and Management
Stage One: Getting Started & Establishing Your Social Strategy
During our first month together, we’re setting the foundational tools and strategies that we’ll use to achieve your social media goals. And that all starts with the Kick-Off Call. This is where we expand on all the information we touched on during your inquiry call. We’ll dig deep into your social media goals and set realistic goals and expectations of what’s possible. And talk all about your brand pillars and potential strategy options.
Over the next two weeks, I’ll assemble your unique-to-your-business social media strategy and prepare the initial posts for you to review. Once I get your approval, I’ll schedule those initial posts and we’ll get settled into our monthly routine.
Stage Two: Working through our Monthly Social Media Cycle
I am a huge fan of consistency, which is why I developed this five-step social media cycle. We’ll use this each month to create your social media content and continue to tweak your social strategy. Here’s how it works.
01. Plan
We’ll hop on a strategy call and discuss upcoming topics or important topics for the upcoming content cycle. Then I build the current cycle’s strategic content plan. As always, every post will be curated to help you achieve your social media goals.
02. Prepare
With the strategy plan created, it’s time to prepare the actual content. This is where I’ll write captions and create attention-grabbing content that connects with your audience.
03. Proof
Now that the content has been created, it’s time for you to proofread it all and make sure the information is accurate, feels right, and aligns with your brand.
04. Post
Now that the content has your stamp of approval, I’ll schedule your posts across the various platforms where you appear online. Then we watch how your audience responds.
05. Ponder
Now that your audience has engaged with your content, we can see what’s performed best and what they don’t seem to like.
Stage Three: Continuing on the Journey
As we approach the end of our six months together, we’ll reflect on all we’ve achieved since the first month and discuss the next steps in your social media journey.

I can honestly say that Nia revolutionized my social media presence.
As a solopreneur, time is not an abundant resource, and it was hard to be consistent in my online presence. I knew that in order to continue growing my business, I needed to bring on a social media strategist who had significant experience, needed minimal amounts of my time, could work asynchronously, and create the strategic content my business needed.
Nia is exactly that person–because they know their stuff!
Switching from doing it all myself to getting help and delegating took some time for me to get used to. But as I trusted the process, let go of the control, and leaned into Nia’s creative process, I could see the positive effects Nia’s strategic content had on my business.

frequently asked questions
How will you manage my content and send it to me for review?
During stage one, while we’re getting everything set up, you’ll gain access to your personal ClickUp Workspace. As content is created, you’ll be assigned to tasks for approval. There, you’ll be able to provide feedback, request revisions, and approve content.
Do your packages include engagement?
Being that all packages are tailored to your unique needs, engagement can be included. We can discuss your exact needs during your discovery call.
What will my time investment be every month? What will you need from me?
There is no hard and fast rule regarding how much time you will need to set aside, but I can say that it will be enough time to review the visual content and captions. Typically, clients spend approximately 30 - 45 minutes per month on approving their content. But this greatly depends on your personality and desired level of involvement.
For some brands, video content becomes a part of their content strategy. If that is the case for your brand, I may request some minimal recordings of you speaking or doing mundane activities as a background video. If this is required, the exact details will be asked of you in ClickUp.
What is A typical payment schedule?
Your deposit for your social media services is 50% of the first month's payment. The remainder of that first month is paid on the 1st of the month your contract period begins. Future monthly payments are automatically charged to the card provided on the 1st of the month.
